Hydrolysed starch, technical use
Starch extracted from grains of corn through the process of wet milling and modified by acid hydrolysis, reaching different levels of fluidity depending on the developed hydrolysis. The purposes of this modification are to enhance its properties particularly in specific applications such as to improve the increase in water holding capacity, heat resistant behavior, reinforce its binding, minimized syneresis of starch and improved thickening.
Three degrees of hydrolysates, cover all the application ranges: MF, AF and AF plus.
Properties and uses
It is used in paper industry and any related business as a mass additive, as superficial starch and as a vehicle for mixture preparation in pigmentation layering.
Corrugated cardboard manufacturing, multi layer paper bags and multi-laminates, as a vehicle in adhesive preparation. Used as binder in thread production in the textile business.
