Crude Corn Oil
Corn oil is extracted from the germ of corn, mechanical press is used to extract oil, without degumming. The corn kernel is grinded by the starch industry for the production of starch and glucose syrups
Properties and Application
These crude oils are sent directly to the industrial plant for refinement and processing. Corn oil is also a feedstock used for biodiesel. Other industrial uses for corn oil include animal nutrition, soap, paint, rustproofing, textiles and insecticides. It is sometimes used as a carrier for drug molecules in pharmaceutical preparations.
